Ingredients

• ⅓ cup soft shortening
• ⅓ cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp lemon flavoring
• 2 ¾ cup flour
• 1 tsp soda (baking soda)
• 1 tsp salt
• ⅔ cup honey

Steps

1. Mix shortening, sugar, egg, honey, and lemon flavoring
2. Blend in flour, soda, salt into another bowl
3. Stir the two mixes together
4. Chill the dough
5. Roll into l ¼” thick
6. Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes
